This project integrates pet care directly into the client home’s daily living system, combining custom joinery, concealed storage, and dedicated pet-friendly features within a refined residential setting. From the built-in feeding and washing station to the cat activity wall and concealed utility cabinetry, each element was designed around the client’s real routines and the needs of their pets. Warm wood veneers, soft painted finishes, and carefully planned storage keep the space organised, practical, and visually cohesive that supports both family life and pet care with comfort, craftsmanship, and long-term everyday functionality.

Built-In Pet Care Station

A built-in pet care station was designed to keep daily routines organised, discreet, and easy to manage. The compact joinery combines a small sink, integrated feeding bowls, drawer storage, and vertical cabinet space within one clean layout, giving every pet-related item a proper place. Warm wood veneer adds a natural, home-like feel, while the concealed lower compartment keeps practical equipment tucked away, allowing the area to remain functional without disrupting the overall interior design.

Smart Storage for Pet Essentials

Dedicated cabinetry and open shelving were designed to keep pet essentials organised, accessible, and close to where daily care happens. The built-in drawers provide tidy storage for food, toys, and small items, while the vertical shelving keeps cleaning supplies, containers, and appliances neatly arranged without spreading into the kitchen or living room. With warm wood finishes, soft cabinet fronts, and a compact sink area, the station feels practical and thoughtfully integrated into the home rather than treated as a separate utility corner.

Space Designed for People & Pets

The living room was designed first as a comfortable space for people, with the pet-friendly features quietly worked into the wall system rather than allowed to dominate the room. Custom cat shelves and elevated pathways give the pets freedom to climb, rest, and move across the space while keeping the floor area clear for seating, circulation, and daily use. With dark wood wall panels, soft integrated lighting, and a restrained layout, the room remains calm, elegant, and practical for both the family and their pets.

Custom cat shelves, climbing routes, resting niches, and circular openings were built directly into the wood panel system, creating a dedicated activity area that feels intentional rather than added on. The design gives the cats space to climb, observe, hide, and rest while keeping the main floor area clear for daily living. With matching wood veneer finishes, rounded forms, and clean cabinet detailing, the pet system feels playful, practical, and visually connected to the rest of the home.

Concealed Laundry & Utility Cabinetry

Laundry and cleaning functions integrated into a full-height cabinet, semi-enclosed cabinet system, keeping the service area practical without making it feel visually busy. The stacked appliances are placed within a dedicated niche, while the surrounding lacquered panels provide concealed storage for daily utility items. With clean lines, soft finishes, and discreet detailing, the laundry area feels orderly, efficient, and naturally aligned with the home’s overall design.

Organised Utility Storage for Pet & Home Care

Laundry, cleaning, and pet care functions were each given a clear place within the cabinetry so daily routines feel easier to manage and less visually cluttered. The stacked machines sit neatly within a dedicated appliance zone, while the concealed cabinet beside them creates a discreet area for litter, supplies, and cleaning tools. By planning these practical needs into the joinery from the beginning, the space stays polished, organised, and comfortable for both home and pet care.
